This project was truly a dream come true. We started with a blank slate and brought everything down to the studs. The only original fixtures that remain in this space are the support pole wrapped in rope and the chimney stack. We wanted the space to be inviting and comfortable yet functional. The vibe we were going for was warm industrial with bit of quirkiness.

We achieved that vibe by choosing warm colors for both the main walls and accent wall, including several levels of lighting and incorporating various tones of wood throughout. The quirkiness was added in via the collages of oddities collected over time and purchased from a local antiques dealer. The owner put his craftsmanship to work with the tree on the feature wall as well as designing the high top tables to the right of the bar.

The bathroom was something we wanted to knock out of the park, as it is something that typically is forgotten in many restaurant designs. We called in an artist and faux finisher from MA to add Venetian plaster to the upper half of the bathroom walls for a bit of drama and the perfect backdrop for those obligatory bathroom selfies.
